Dr. Racheal Rick is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) and over 15 years of comprehensive clinical experience spanning acute hospital care, specialized wound centers, and skilled nursing/rehabilitation facilities.

Her clinical practice centers on advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine—including practice within major health systems such as Mass General Brigham (Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Salem Hospital)—as well as on-site clinical consultation for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and long-term care environments. Dr. Rick brings deep, hands-on expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and systemic management of complex wounds, hospital- and community-acquired pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, and ostomy care.

Equipped with a background that spans bedside nursing in 300-bed SNFs (including specialized memory and behavioral units) to leading clinical wound management teams, Dr. Rick provides authoritative, objective medical-legal record reviews, standard-of-care evaluations, and expert consultation for both plaintiff and defense legal teams.

Pressure Injury Management: Staging, prevention protocols, hospital-acquired vs. community-acquired pressure injuries, SCALE/terminal skin failure differentiation.

Advanced Wound Healing: Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound Vac), debridement, tunneling, diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), venous stasis, and neuropathic ulcers.

Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care: SNF/LTC standards of care, interdisciplinary care planning, nursing documentation audit, and admission/discharge oversight.

Hyperbaric Medicine & Ostomy Care: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), colostomy/ileostomy, stoma, and fistula management.

Clinical Records & EMR Auditing: Experienced in electronic medical record (EMR) analysis using PointClickCare (PCC) and EPIC .
